BRIEF
With an audience of just 300, attendees are seated comfortably in couches around a low-profile stage for an intimate experience—the immersive 40’ x 110' wrap screen becomes a powerful statement designed for high impact. As part of the Rezin8 crew, the conference’s creative production company, we were challenged to develop immersive graphics for two half-day general sessions that would take full advantage of the canvas, while working fluidly & flexibly with high-profile speakers from around the world in the weeks leading up to the event.
Speakers include legendary Disney animator Glen Keane; along with fmr. Vice President Al Gore; human rights activist Alessandra Orofino and Shaka Senghor; star athletes like olympian Kerri Walsh Jennings, and ultra-marathoner Charlie Engle; pioneers of journalism, like Sarah Koenig, Michael Rezendez, Dan Rather, and Washington Post editor in chief, Marty Baron, to name a few.

ROLE
As the creative producer and lead designer, I was tasked with working directly with all presenters and Google’s in-house team to develop and oversee all creative digital content. These responsibilities included presentation design; additional digital graphics design used throughout the general sessions; direction and creative oversight of all general session content from screen graphics to lighting, video, sound, etc.; acting as the main creative touchpoint with Google’s in-house team; and oversee and maintain the brand standards set by Google on all digital graphics.
results
Both Google and our presenters were thrilled with our work. After my performance for both events, Google’s events team expressed to myself and my executive producer that my work had surpassed their expectations and the speakers I personally worked with were impressed with my work. In several cases, the speakers themselves have even asked to remain in touch should they need additional design work in the future.
